I love finding a balance between what nourishes me and makes me happy without feeling like I’m missing out on the great things in life. As a very active person, I rely on the foods I eat as pure energy in its true form along with flavor and satisfaction. This journey has turned into a love of mine and a lifelong adventure.

I struggled for a large portion of my life with the ideals of what I thought was "healthy" and put my mind and body through a lot of stress and weight fluctuation because of my misunderstanding of what that meant. I would jump from one diet to another and developed eating habits that affected every facet of my life. My weight wasn't the only thing affected by this thought process... my skin, hair, hormones, and energy were paying a price as well. 

But that’s not the worst part.

 

The worst part is that when I went off each diet, I’d continue eating healthy but I gave myself more wiggle room with what I ate and how much. And that’s when the weight came back on… every_single_ time! Maybe you can relate and know how defeating this is. 


My low point was a few months after the last restrictive diet I followed… when I realized that I had gained all the weight back and THEN some which didn't help my body image. 
 

That’s when I decided that there HAD to be a better way. 

I made it my life’s work to study the science behind food and nutrition and learn why I was struggling for so many years - and I learned how to heal my metabolism so I could not only lose the weight and feel energized and healthy but feel this way for good.
